🐚Coastal Breeze – Essential Oils Blend

I like to switch to this essential oil blend in my diffusers around mid August to September whilst a little Summer remains here in the Northern hemisphere. It uses 2 of the oils in my “Smells like Summer” blend here so it keeps costs down by just buying the 1 extra essential oil.

There are quite a few variations of aromas all based around a pine theme, I’ve used both Pine Sylvestris as well as Cedarwood in the past. Pine is a nice fragrance on its own whilst cedarwood is quite medicinal but does have that “salty sea” smell when mixed with others. The great thing about either is they are great to use for Christmas blends later in the year too.

2 💧💧ROSEMARY🌿

Just to recap on my tips outlined in my “Smells like Summer” blend here, these are my suggestions when blending your own essential oils..

You can try this blend for yourself by dropping the above mix straight onto a cotton wool pad. If you decide you want to mix in bigger quantities yourself, I recommend the following tools to get started:

  • small glass measuring jug, a small funnel and bottles large enough for storing your final blend. Once you’ve made a few blends you can start reusing the empty bottles they are supplied in.

I like this “Mystic Moments” brand as they’re such good value at under £10 per 100ml and easily available on-line and through Amazon.

ROSEMARY

The brand do low cost starter sets of 5 fragrances (such as Christmas, wildflower etc) but also do the larger 100ml bottles of their most popular ones.

THIS is a nice set for beginners or as a gift at £20 that includes 20 bottles, grouped into 5 scents for each season.

You should check with each brand’s guidance but this one can be used for soaps, bath bombs, candles, oil burners and diffusers.

Products mentioned have been purchased by myself and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
